Sevan Malikyan is a British Expressive Artist of Armenian Ancestry, born 4th September 1972 in London, son of Actor Kevork Malikyan. He is currently living and working in Cyprus.

He is a highly motivated and self-disciplined studio-based Painter with an extensive portfolio that demonstrates a dramatic and inventive body of work.

Sevan’s art education led him to gain degree honors in Fine Art and also a Masters’s degree. He has exhibited throughout London, including Riverside Studios, Brick Lane Gallery, and Mall Galleries.

He currently resides in Cyprus.

Where did Sevan Malikyan Study Art

Sevan started his Art education in London, where he spent many years discovering the Art of the old and modern masters. He went on to gain a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Bath School of Art and Design.

He went on to continue his studies at Cyprus College of Art, completing his Postgraduate Diploma in Fine Art in 2009.

He has gained MA in Fine Art from Northampton University.

In 2009, he had his first solo show in Cyprus.

Kypriaki Gonia Gallery in Larnaca and Gloria Gallery in Nicosia.

In 2012, he participated in The Exhibition of Armenian-Cypriot painters and photographers, within the framework of the Cypriot Presidency of the European Union Council.

He was Resident Artist and private tutor at the Cyprus College of Art and now at the Cornaro Art Institute.

Sevan’s works can be found in private collections in such countries as Cyprus, Sweden, Italy, Turkey, and the UK. In London at Riverside Studios, Brick Lane Gallery, and Mall galleries, where he was shortlisted for the Diana Brooks Prize.

He can also be found on Blackmore Gallery, an online gallery specializing in Studio Pottery and Sculptural Ceramics, and has a showroom in the prestigious Collect Art gallery in Lymm, Cheshire.
