Two days ago we were really saddened by the terrorist attack that targeted innocent people in Nice France, we were deeply hurt to see the young children, mothers, brothers, fathers, family members and friends who lost a loved one. As Armenians around the world we shared the grief of one of our own, who was also a victim of the atrocities.
Yesterday the mourning was interrupted when we heard that Erdogan was about to vanish from power, but it seems the evil is growing even bigger and now he thinks he has the right to punish those who opposed him.
Aypoupen is a website for Armenians and we share news that concern all Armenians, and we would like to put the spotlight on Armenian festivals worldwide. We wish you all a nice weekend wherever you are, but if you are in London, please visit the Armenian Street festivals and don’t forget to share your impressions and videos with us.
The Armenian Church organises annual Armenian Street Festivals on the streets of Iverna Gardens in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, where St. Sarkis Church is located, with the aim of celebrating and promoting our Armenian culture and heritage.
Akhtamar APG will be performing at the Festival alongside Eurovision star Iveta Mukuchyan, renowned Armenian duduk player Gevorg Karapetyan and the Komitas Choir of Tekeyan Trust & Cultural Association UK.
We advise you to join the locals in celebrating a truly wonderful display of Armenian music and culture!
