Of Armenian origin, Astrid Panosyan is a graduate of the École des Hautes Etudes Commerciales de Paris (HEC), the Institut d’études politiques (Sciences Po) in Paris and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government (École d Public Affairs at Harvard University in the United States).

She began her career in 1994 at AT Kearney, a prestigious strategy consulting firm located in Chicago, specializing in general management issues.
